KODIAK, Alaska - The crew of the 68-foot tug Aries calls mayday reporting the vessel is taking on water June 26, 2011. The Coast Guard responded to the mayday call by launching an Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules airplane crew, MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew and diverted the Coast Guard Cutter Healy to respond.
