BOSTON - The Coast Guard rescued a 77-year-old man at 3:16 p.m. Monday after he went overboard from his sailing vessel approximately four miles south of Centerville Beach, Mass. A Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew and a Coast Guard Station Wood's Hole 41-foot Utility Boat crew launched immediately. The Jayhawk located the man and deployed a rescue swimmer who safely recovered him from the water. The man was wearing his lifejacket.
