KODIAK, Alaska - Coast Guard Sector Anchorage responds to a VHF Channel 16 radio call requesting medical assistance for an injured 19-year-old fisherman aboard 38-foot fishing vessel Kittiwake Aug. 18, 2011.
Coast Guard Sector Anchorage received a call for help from the crew of the fishing vessel Karen Kay at 7:22 a.m. relaying that there had been an incident aboard the Kittywake resulting in a crewmember reportedly sustaining severe facial injuries.
