The Coast Guard conducted a transport of two stranded walrus calves from Barrow to Anchorage aboard a Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules airplane Monday, July 30, 2012, and Deck Watch Radio spoke with Tim Lebling, the stranding coordinator at the Alaska SeaLife Center about the rescue.
