On March 20, Navy Capt. Frank Mays assumed command of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), the nation's premier joint base, located in the nation's capital. Mays became JBAB's third commander, relieving Navy Capt. Anthony T. Calandra, who led the military base since April 2011.
