Distress call prompts Coast Guard rescue

This distress call from an injured sailor prompted a late night rescue of two off Kauai, Sept. 17, 2014. Watchstanders at Sector Honolulu Command Center received a call on VHF Channel 16 from an individual aboard a 50-foot sailboat eight miles southwest of Port Allen, Kauai.
