The Coast Guard is urging the public to prepare for the onset of heavy weather expected to impact the Hawaiian Islands, Oct. 17, 2014. The effects of Hurricane Ana are expected to generate extreme sea conditions, storm surge and high surf throughout the Main Hawaiian Islands.
