A SAD MOMENT FOR THE AIR FORCE AND THE UNITED STATES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AS THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE HAS RELEASED THE NAMES OF SIX AIRMEN WHO WERE KILLED NEAR BAGRAM AIR FIELD IN AFGHANISTAN CHRISTMAS WEEK. FOUR SPECIAL AGENTS FROM ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AS WELL AS TWO SECURITY FORCES GUARDSMEN FROM NEW YORK DIED WHEN THEIR PATROL WAS ATTACKED BY A SUICIDE BOMBER ON A MOTORCYCLE DECEMBER TWENTY FIRST.
ASKING HIMSELF AND OTHER SERVICE MEMBERS WHO GATHERED TO GRIEVE THEIR FALLEN HOW THEY CAN HONOR THE LIVES OF THOSE LOST LIEUTENANT COLONOL AND CHAPLAIN DAVID KELLY, ANSWERED SAYING "HONOR THEM BY PRESSING ON WITH THE MISSION. THE SAME MISSION THEY WERE WILL TO GIVE THEIR LIVES FOR."
