TEN FEMALE LIEUTENANTS GRADUATED FROM THE FIRST GENDER-INTEGRATED CLASS OF THE INFANTRY OFFICER BASIC LEADER COURSE. COMMANDING GENERAL OF THE MANEUVER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, MAJOR GENERAL ERIC WESLEY SAYS, FOR NOW, THEY WILL ONLY SEND THE FEMALE GRADUATES TO EITHER FORT BRAGG OR FORT HOOD.
"GENERAL MILLEY, THE CHIEF OF STAFF, HAS TALKED ABOUT LEADERS FIRST, SO WE ARE PRIMING THE PUMP AND ENABLING SUCCESS BY INITIALING FOCUSING ON TWO INSTALLATIONS AND THEN ULTIMATELY THEY WILL START TO MIGRATE OUT TO OTHER INSTALLATIONS."
