SOLDIERS OF THE 10TH ARMY AIR AND MISSILE COMMAND ARE PREPARING FOR THE MULTINATIONAL TRAINING EXERCISE, PATRIOT SHOCK, WHICH WILL BE HELD IN ROMANIA. COMMANDER, DELTA COMPANY, CAPTAIN MICHAEL TOPPING SAYS LOADING THE EQUIPMENT IS AN ESSENTIAL FIRST STEP IN A SUCCESSFUL MISSION.
"WE DEPLOY TO ROMANIA AND WHAT THIS DOES IS SHOW HOW WE CAN RAPIDLY DEPLOY ON A MOMENTS NOTICE IN ORDER TO EFFECTIVELY REASSURE OUR ALLIES IN THE CALL OF NEED."
IN ITALY, AS A PART OF OPERATION ATLANTIC RESOLVE, SOLDIERS OF THE 1-73RD AIRBORNE BRIGADE TRAIN WITH THEIR POLISH COUNTERPARTS ON HOW TO EFFECTIVELY USE TWO DIFFERENT ANTI-TANK WEAPONS. PARATROOPER, SPECIALIST CHRISTION SHROYER, SAYS THIS TRAINING WILL LEAD TO BIGGER EVENTS.
"WELL, BEING ABLE TO USE BOTH WEAPONS SYSTEMS SINCE WE'RE WORKING IN PARTNERS WITH THE POLISH, THEY'RE WORKING WITH US, PRIMARILY TRYING TO TARGET ARMORED VEHICLES AND TANKS. THIS IS JUST LIKE A FOUNDATION, STEPPING STONES TO GET TO THAT NEXT LEVEL."
