    SERVICEMEMBERS AND CIVILIANS COMPETED IN THE FORTY FIRST RUNNING OF THE MARINE CORPS MARATHON IN WASHINGTON D-C WHERE SPECIALIST SAMUEL KOSGEI FINISHED FIRST WITH A TIME OF TWO HOURS, TWENTY THREE MINUTES AND FIFTY THREE SECONDS. THE ROUTE STARTED AT THE PENTAGON AND WOUND THROUGH THE DISTRICT AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA ENDING AT THE MARINE CORPS WAR MEMORIAL NEAR ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY. THIS IS KOSGEI'S SECOND WIN FOR THIS MARATHON AND THE 4TH FOR THE ARMY OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS.
