SOLDIERS FROM THE FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A PART OF A KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL GAME THIS WEEKEND AS PART OF THEIR MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY. GENERAL PATRICK FRANK, ACTING SENIOR COMMANDER, SAYS RECOGNITION LIKE THIS GOES A LONG WAY
" I'VE TALKED TO A LOT OF SOLDIERS TODAY AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY OVER THE MOON ABOUT BEING HERE, IT'S FANTASTIC FO RTHEM TO BE INVITED DOWN BY KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY TO BE INVITED DOWN FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. COULDN'T HAVE A BETTER KANSAS FALL DAY TO DO IT. "
THE ARMY IS CURRENTLY GROWING ITS CYBER FORCE MISSION WHICH PROTECTS ARMY NETWORKS FROM ADVERSARIES. IN MARCH 2017, THE FIRST ENLISTED SOLDIERS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND ARMY ADVANCED INDIVIDUAL TRAINING AT FORT GORDON, GEORGIA.
