Marines with 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division are currently conducting a deployment for training exercise at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The exercise allows Marines to strengthen unit cohesion and maintain a constant state of readiness to answer the nation's call in any clime and place.
In the Pacific,
U.S. Marines with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, are currently conducting a Combined-Arms Live-Fire Exercise in the Kingdom of Thailand, as part of Exercise Cobra Gold 18. The training hones and strengthens tactical skills and relationships amongst the participating nations, and is the final training event of Cobra Gold 18.
Also in the Corps,
Marines with 1st Maintenance Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group conducted a forward operating base training exercise throughout February. The purpose of the exercise was to enhance combat readiness and proficiency while in a field environment, where the unit would be working off limited resources.
