More than 100 Marines with Headquarters Marine Corps are currently attending the first Hybrid Logistics Symposium at the University of California, San Diego. During the symposium, Marines, along with students from the university, discuss concepts and equipment advancement that will support the Marine logistical community in achieving success into the year 2025 and beyond.
Also in the Corps
Marines with India Battery, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines conducted artillary support training at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Febuary 28. During the training, Marines fired M-TRIPLE-SEVEN-A2 howitzers in order to better perform a wide range of military operations.
This week in Marine Corps history in 1776,
Marines bagan a raid on New Providence in the Bahamas during the American Revolutionary War. The raid was considered the first amphibious landing for the Marine Corps. It is also known as the "Battle of Nassau".
