Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force Support Battalion, conducted the unit's first field exercise at Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan, December 7th. The field exercise was a test of III MSB’s ability in field like conditions.

The season of giving is here! Toys for Tots, a non-profit organization founded in 1947 and operated by the Marine Corps Reserves, has begun its annual mission to help families across the nation who may be in need of assistance in surprising their children with holiday presents.

On this day in Marine Corps history in 1944,
Marines participated in the Luzon Operation in the Philippines during World War II succesfully liberating the Philippine Islands.
