KIN BLUE, OKINAWA (Feb. 9, 2020) Marines and Sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and service members with the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force’s Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade conduct a bilateral small-boat raid followed by High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System insert and simulated shot on Kin Blue Beach, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 8 and 9, 2020. The America Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to serve as a ready response force to defend peace in the Indo-Pacific region.
