As the realm of strategic competition evolves, the way the department of defense trains and prepares does as well. This ideal is reflected in announced changes to enlisted joint professional military education. These changes, outlined in the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff publication “developing enlisted leaders for tomorrow’s wars,” stem from leaders seeing the advantages of integrated trainings between the services.
