The Army has relied on some type of technology for its 250 year existence in one way or another. Basic technology of the day during the Revolutionary War such as invisible ink, to using balloons to see further across the battlefield during the Civil War, to modern day advanced tech for electromagnetic spectrum monitoring and GPS, they all ensured our Army had the edge over our adversaries. <br /> <br /> This video series looks back on the past technologies and draws connections to the advanced technology we develop today at PEO IEW&S to ensure our Army is ready and lethal.
