Agility Prime is a collaborative initiative led by the Air Force Research Lab to create revolutionary military acquisition and airpower concepts by accelerating the growth of the commercial transformative vertical flight market. In 2021, the AETC/CC directed the stand up of Det. 62, with the vision that by 2023, the detachment will develop initial skills training for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles.
