TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries at military hospitals and clinics in Japan have been experiencing challenges with access to care, emergency care at military treatment facilities (MTF), and or within the Japanese medical network. There is an overall misunderstanding among beneficiaries of how the Japanese health care system works and accessing care within it.
