(April 14, 1948 to April 14, 2015)<br /> Celebrating our birthday provides us with a great opportunity to tell our story in multiple ways. Our theme for this year's celebration is "Air Force Reserve: significant in the past, critical to the future." As we celebrate our birthday in April 2015 as a means to foster tradition and heritage, build esprit de corps, and commemorate the AF Reserve's legacy, we want to give back through the spirit of service to the communities that have hosted us and supported us for many years. This event is designed to increase awareness of who we are and what we do; tell our story through an AF Reserve-wide concerted effort; and foster relationships with congressional staffers, community leaders and employers.
