U.S. Air Forces in Europe units are participating in the Anatolian Eagle 15 flying training exercise taking place at 3rd Main Air Base, Turkey from June 8 through 18. During this training engagement, approximately 250 personnel and 12 F-15s from the 48th Fighter Wing, RAF Lakenheath, England, will participate in training focused on exercising operational and logistical processes for U.S. air forces to deploy to, operate in and around, and to continue regular combined training to increase tactical interoperability between U.S. and Turkey air forces. Through strengthened relationships and engagements with our allies, the U.S. and NATO demonstrate our shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe.
