Buddy Wing exercises are part of a combined fighter exchange program designed to improve interoperability between USAF and ROKAF fighter squadrons. Buddy Wing is conducted multiple times throughout the year in order to promote cultural awareness and sharpen combined combat capabilities.
Six F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 35th Fighter Squadron took off from Kunsan on May 15 to support Buddy Wing 17-4 at Jungwon Air Base, Republic of Korea.
