The Combat Ammunition Production Exercise (CAPEX) is a non-rated, non-aircraft, mass, live-munitions production exercise in support of air tasking orders. CAPEX is the best available tool in the logistics community to evaluate munitions combat readiness, BSP adequacy, and TTPs. The exercise reinforces combat planning and production concepts taught at the Air Force Combat Ammunition Center while providing a test bed for new technologies and concepts.
