Cobra Gold 24 (CG24) is a Thailand and United States co-sponsored Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Joint Theater Security Cooperation (JTSC) exercise conducted annually in the Kingdom of Thailand. Cobra Gold is an important element of the United States and participating nations’ regional military-to-military (mil-to-mil) engagement efforts to maintain readiness and increase the capability, capacity and interoperability of partner nations while simultaneously reinforcing U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
CG24 is the 43rd iteration of the Cobra Gold series of exercises. CG24 emphasizes coordination on readiness, civic action, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, and seeks to expand regional cooperation and collaboration in these vital areas. show less
