The U.S. Army continues to plan Project Convergence: a campaign of learning designed to aggressively advance and integrate the Army's contribution to the developing concept of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control. It ensures that the Army, as part of the Joint Force, can rapidly and continuously integrate or "converge" effects across all domains -- air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace -- to overmatch our adversaries in competition and conflict. Project Convergence includes a continuous, structured series of demonstrations and experiments at various locations.
Project Convergence Capstone 5 (PC-C5), the latest iteration of the U.S. Army's premier modernization experiment, is set to take place in March and April 2025. This ambitious campaign of learning will bring together Joint and Multinational partners in a series of complex, realistic scenarios designed to push the boundaries of future warfare capabilities.
By 2030, The U.S. Army’s Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System will essentially be replaced by the new AXS software, which can be used by any device and any person depending on the needs of the mission.
