Michigan’s Task Force 46, and National Guard service members from several other states including Nashville, Louisiana, New Jersey, New York and California participates in the Dense Urban Terrain Exercise in Nashville, TN. Joining the many National Guard servicemembers are representatives from local, state and federal agencies, and private sector and academic partners. The DUT series of exercises began in Detroit in 2018 and has since become one of the Nation’s premier all-hazard and homeland defense exercises designed to enhance interagency interoperability in the event of “America’s worst day”.
