Michigan’s Task Force 46, and National Guard servicemembers from several other states including Pennsylvania, Louisiana, New Jersey, New York and California participates in the Dense Urban Terrain Exercise in Philadelphia, PA. Joining the many National Guard servicemembers are representatives from local, state and federal agencies, and private sector and academic partners. The DUT series of exercises began in Detroit in 2018 and has since become one of the Nation’s premier all-hazard and homeland defense exercises designed to enhance interagency interoperability in the event of “America’s worst day”.
