An XCTC is a brigade field training exercise, which aims to certify platoon proficiency in coordination with First U.S. Army. The training exposes Guard Soldiers to a combat training center experience while minimizing cost and time away from home and work. During the exercise, the 155th ABCT will encounter tests on their response to ambushes, company hasty attacks, platoon movement to contact, recon missions and vehicle recovery missions.
The event will also feature M1A2 SEPv2 tank, M2A3/M3A3 Bradley platoon level live fire, field artillery live fire, a combined arms breach and fixed and rotary wing air support. show less
