The U.S. Air Force will participate in exercise Frisian Flag, a two-week, live-fly aviation training period, led by the Royal Netherlands air force and designed to improve NATO allies and partners’ operational capability. This year, Airmen, F-16C Fighting Falcons, and support equipment assigned to the 179th Fighter Squadron, 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, will stage at Leeuwarden Air Base, Netherlands, to participate in exercise Frisian Flag 19.
