Exercise Foal Eagle 2015 is a Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS)-sponsored, Commander, U.S. Pacific Command-directed, United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) annual joint/combined Field Training Exercise (FTX). The purpose of the exercise is to demonstrate U.S. resolve to support the Republic of Korea (ROK) and defend the region while improving ROK/U.S. combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability for component commands.
