Garuda Shield 15 (GS 15) is a U.S. Army Pacific-sponsored exercise in the central and eastern regions of Java, Indonesia. GS 15 is designed to enhance the interoperability between the U.S. 25th Infantry Division and the Indonesian Armed Forces, strengthening ties, and promote regional security. The exercise focuses on strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. resolve to support the security interests of friends and allies in the region. GS 15 is part of the Pacific Pathways 15-2.
