Intrepid Maven (IM) 23.4 is a bilateral U. S. Marine Corps Forces, Central Command-Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) exercise designed to contribute to Marine Corps-JAF interoperability while also enhancing both bilateral relations and unit readiness.
CAMP Al-QUAWAYRAH, Jordan – U.S. Marines with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, conducted squad, platoon, and bi-lateral movement drills with the Jordanian Armed Forces during exercise Intrepid Maven 23.4, July 3-13, 2023.
Intrepid Maven 23.4 concluded in southern Jordan on July 13, 2023. The exercise included more than 450 U.S. Marines and Sailors, alongside partnering elements of the Jordanian Armed Forces, who conducted infantry-based training, fire and maneuver, communications, medical, individual and collective marksmanship and gunnery skills and fire support coordination.
