Exercise Iron Siren 18 is an annual, bilateral surface exercise between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and United Arab Emirates Navy (UAEN) designed to broaden levels of cooperation, support long term regional security and enhance maritime interoperability. By cooperatively training together, these exercises allow the U.S. and UAE to demonstrate their commitment to working collectively to develop the necessary skills to address threats to freedom of navigation and international commerce with partners in the region.
