The B-2 Spirit is the world's most technologically-advanced strategic
bomber and brings massive firepower to bear, in a short time, anywhere on
the globe. With a payload capacity of 40,000 lbs, the B-2 is capable of
carrying up to eighty 500-pound Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs),
providing the capability to target and strike multiple targets at once with
unmatched precision. Additionally, the aircraft is able to loiter in an area
of operations for long periods of time, thus enabling persistence and
flexibility if and when additional strikes are warranted. show less
