The 2024 Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) integrates U.S. Air Force active duty and reserve personnel with partner nation medical establishments, offering real-world benefits and assistance to achieve positive outcomes through collaboration. Medical assistance teams will travel to Suriname, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, St. Kitts and Nevis, where patients have been selected in coordination with hospital medical directors and physicians under the direction of the host nation's Ministry of Health.
Forty-three U.S. Air Force active duty and reserve Airmen traveled to St. Kitts and Nevis in support of this year’s Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team mission.
