The Mississippi National Guard (MSNG) will host MARLINSPIKE 2015 on Wednesday, April 1, an interagency exercise designed for an integrated response to a maritime weapons of mass destruction threat.

The Mississippi National Guard (MSNG) will host MARLINSPIKE 2015 on Wednesday, April 1, an interagency exercise designed for an integrated response to a maritime weapons of mass destruction threat.
Participants include Civil Support Teams from the Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana Army National Guard, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, Jackson County Emergency Management Agency, U. S. Customs and Border Protection, multiple Mississippi Army and Air National Guard units, with other federal agencies providing observers and technical guidance.
Training will take place on Singing River Island and in/around the Biloxi Bay.
The overall event will be monitored by the MSNG Joint Operations Center, at the Combat Readiness Training Center, who will also exercise their interagency coordination communication systems in preparation for any Gulf Coast disaster that the Guard may assist with.
