Northern Strike 20
Northern Strike 20 is the National Guard's premier Joint Fires readiness event of the year. Northern Strike 20 is the National Guard's premier Joint Fires readiness event of the year. Hosted annually at facilities of the Michigan National Guard, Northern Strike provides a premier venue for exercising joint live fire proficiency at the company/troop level and multi-component units from battalion to division level in Joint Fires integration.
A total of more than 900 personnel are expected to participate at Northern Strike 20, including Army and Air National Guard forces from California, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin. Active duty forces from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as personnel from the U.S. Army Reserves, U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, and the NATO partner country of Latvia.
Northern Strike 20 will be held July 19-31 at Michigan’s newly renamed National All-Domain Warfighting Center, encompassing Camp Grayling Maneuver Training Center and Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center.
