Operation Coal Country was an Innovative Readiness Training event supported by more than 150 members of the Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Navy Reserve, active-duty Navy, Army Reserve and active-duty Army. The members traveled from 29 different states to participate in this event which operated five different clinics from 3-10 August.<br /> <br /> Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) is a Department of Defense (DoD) military training opportunity, exclusive to the United States and its territories, that delivers joint training opportunities to increase deployment readiness. Simultaneously, IRT provides key services (health care, construction, transportation, and cybersecurity) with lasting benefits for our American communities.
