The 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team conducts a decisive action rotation with combined arms maneuver and collective gunnery at the National Training Center (NTC) Fort Irwin, CA (FICA) 1-31 July, 2019 in order to validate the capabilities of the 30th ABCT and provide a globally-responsive brigade that is prepared to deploy, fight and win. The 30th is nicknamed "Old Hickory" after President Andrew Jackson, and comprised of seven battalions and over 4,200 soldiers from four National Guard states: 30th HHC BDE (NCNG), 1-252 AR REG (NCNG), 1-113 FA REG (NCNG), 236 BEB (NCNG), 230 BSB (NCNG) , 1-150th CAV REG (WVNG), 4-118 IN REG (SCNG) and 1-145 AR REG (OHNG).
