    The Georgia Army National Guard hosts the 2023 Region III Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition April 16-21 at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The winning Soldier and NCO will represent Region III at the National Guard Best Warrior Competition in July 2023, hosted by the Alaska National Guard. Ten states and territories comprise Region III, to include: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virgin Islands.
