This Colombian Air Force lead exercise, Angel de los Andes, is a Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Response (HA/DR) exercise focused on Search and Rescue (SAR). This year's ADLA will be held concurrently with Relampago or "Lightning", an annual Colombian Air Force lead exercise since 2014, which focuses on bolstering air superiority training techniques and tactics in order to strengthen the interoperability between the USAF and COLAF.
