VIPs visited the Scranton Army Ammunition Plan in Scranton, Pa., to receive a first-hand tour of the 155mm production lines. Scranton manufactures large-caliber metal projectiles for the Joint Warfighter. Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the U.S. Army has undertaken substantial modernization efforts to increase production levels of 155mm rounds, and Scranton has been at the forefront of this effort.
