U.S. military and civilian leaders, Grenadian senior officials, community representatives, U.S. military veterans, and the families of U.S. service members killed during military operations in Grenada will commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the U.S.-Caribbean intervention that began Oct. 25, 1983 to restore security and democratic institutions in the Eastern Caribbean island state. In Grenada, the anniversary is called Thanksgiving Day.
