Warriors from multiple Army units around the Pacific compete in the Pacific Theater Week Best Warrior Competition, a grueling, week-long competition held in multiple training areas throughout Schofield Barracks on the island of Oahu. Fourteen Soldiers representing seven U.S. Army units will test their skills and knowledge against each other and Army standards. One of these professionals will earn the right to be called the U.S. Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Soldier of the Year and Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year. These Soldiers have outperformed their peers during several competitions over the last several months at their home units throughout the Pacific. Command Sergeant Major Bryant Lambert, the command sergeant major of USARPAC, will oversee the annual competition the week of June 11-16, 2017.
