The Port Dawg Challenge is a HQ Air Force Reserve Command-sponsored event. Unit teams consist of six enlisted members, one of which must be a first-term Airman. Teams compete through 12 separate Air Transportation career field events during the three-day competition. The event represents the best Aerial Porters from across the Air Transportation Enterprise competing in air transportation knowledge and skill sets. The PDC challenge is designed to demonstrate personal and unit readiness, generate cohesive warfighting elements, showcase mission capabilities and build and showcase a ready force.
