Composite Training Unit Exercise is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the Bataan ARG and 26th MEU’s ability to conduct military operations at sea, project power ashore through joint planning, and execute challenging and realistic scenarios.
The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and the U.S. Navy Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) are taking steps during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) to refine operations by bringing aboard a Department of State Liaison Element (DOSLE).
