The 94th Airlift Wing has received aircraft from military installations in the Southeastern U.S. expecting severe weather from Hurricane Irma. <br />

Dobbins Air Reserve Base is a designated hurricane reception location and has standing agreements with several military installations to provide airfield space to safely hold aircraft during severe weather. The base will accommodate approximately 20 additional aircraft for the duration of the storm. <br />
<br />
Dobbins also served as the reception point for approximately 150 Department of Defense personnel arriving September 6-7 from locations expected to be directly impacted by Hurricane Irma. <br />
