The Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise, referred to as EDRE, is a no notice, rapid deployment exercise designed to test the brigade’s ability to alert, marshal and deploy, to support a combatant command across the globe.
The Army routinely conducts deployment readiness exercises to assess its ability to provide the National Command Authority Army ground forces with no notice or short notice.
This exercise will not only test the Division’s ability to deploy personnel and systems, it also trains Fort Bliss installation facilities to deploy Divisional assets quickly and efficiently. show less
