The U.S. Air Force is deploying four F-22s from the 95th Fighter Squadron at Tyndall AFB, Fla. along with one Air Mobility Command C-17, 60 Airmen and equipment to Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. These aircraft and Airmen will train with other U.S. Air Force aircraft, joint and allied partners in Germany and other European countries to assure allies and further demonstrate our commitment to regional safety and security.
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The U.S. Air Force has deployed one squadron of F-22 Raptors, Airmen and associated equipment to Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, from the 95th Fighter Squadron, 325th Fighter Wing, at Tyndall AFB, Fla., to conduct air training with other Europe-based aircraft as part of a Flying Training Deployment.
Four U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft, two F-22 Raptors and one C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft arrived at Łask Air Base, Poland, Aug. 31, 2015.
The Airmen and aircraft are in Poland for separate flying training events with allies to demonstrate the countries' shared commitment to the collective security of NATO and enduring peace and stability of the region.
